What is meditation?

Meditation is about aligning the body and the mind into the present moment by relaxing the body and focusing the mind on a single point, to go deeper than the thinking mind, into a state of one-ness and connectedness with all that is.

The body can live only in the present moment, whereas the mind can wander about all over the place into the future and into the past.

Think about this… if energy flows where your attention goes, then your energy is all in the past (which doesn’t exist anymore) or in the future (which doesn’t exist yet).

When we align our mind and body into the present moment we have all our energy here, now, available for creation and for healing.
